Residential Fire Near Dallas, NC Results in Death
On December 12, 2019 at approximately 1:00am the Gaston County 911 Communications Center received a call from a resident that a mobile home was on fire on John Fraley Rd. located near Dallas, NC. Firefighters from the Agriculture Center Fire Department arrived on the scene to find the mobile home fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters made entry into the home under heavy fire and smoke conditions and located the body of the occupant inside. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of the family.
Firefighters from the Agriculture Center Fire Department, Dallas Fire Department, North Gaston Fire and Rescue, and Spencer Mountain Fire Department responded to the scene, as well as Gaston County Police, Gaston Emergency Medical Service, and Dallas Rescue. The Gaston County Fire Marshal’s Office and Gaston County Police Department are investigating the cause of the fire which has not been determined at this time.
