Biography
Dr. Grier is the Community Support Services Director for the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Grier earned his Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership, Master's in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science all from Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Grier is a Spring 2022 graduate from the Lee Institute American Leadership Academy. He is a native of Gaston County and resides in Kings Mountain, NC.
Prior to joining Gaston County, Dr. Grier worked in various roles within Social Services for 11 years. He serves on the Hospice Cleveland County Foundation Board, the Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region Board of Directors, and as Treasurer for the NC American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children.
