The Gaston County Workforce Development Board (WDB) is soliciting quotes from interested and qualified entities (public, private, or non-profit) to serve as the One Stop Operator for the NCWorks Career Center - Gaston under purview of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and thus, the Gaston County Workforce Development Board. The goal for the use of these funds is to provide a one stop operator that will be responsible for providing oversight of all program and partner activities occurring in the NCWorks Career Center - Gaston to include those that increase the employment, retention, and earnings of participants, and increase attainment of recognized post-secondary credentials by participants, and as a result, improve the quality of the workforce, reduce welfare and dependency, increase economic self- sufficiency, meet the skill requirements of employers, and enhance the productivity and competitiveness of our local economy. Funding for this program will be funded with 100% Federal dollars in the estimated amount of $77,274. Public bid opening will take place immediately after the deadline on the 2^nd Floor Board Room (Room 2079) of the Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services – Social Services Division Building.
