GASTON COUNTY, N.C. – Gaston County Public Health and Disability Rights of North Carolina will host their second annual “Walk and Roll Together, Gaston/Caminemos y Rodemos Juntos Gaston” event on Saturday, October 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Downtown Gastonia.
The goal of this event is to inspire, inform, and provide resources and valuable services to the community, with a special focus on the Latino community. The event is free and begins at 9 a.m. The 2K walk and cultural celebration, which is fully accessible, begins at 10 a.m. After the walk, there will be various activities and entertainment, including a DJ, at the Rotary Centennial Pavilion (107 N. South St., Gastonia, NC 28052).
There will be food, music, raffles, as well as civic and nonprofit organizations on site to provide information about available community resources. "CAMINEMOS Y RODEMOS JUNTOS, GASTÓN" REGRESA POR SEGUNDO AÑO
CONDADO DE GASTON, N.C. – El Departamento de Salud Pública del Condado de Gaston y Disability Rights of North Carolina llevarán a cabo su segundo evento anual "Caminemos y Rodemos Juntos, Gaston" el sábado 7 de octubre de 9 a.m. a 2 p.m. en el centro de Gastonia.
El objetivo de este evento es inspirar, informar y brindar recursos y servicios valiosos a la comunidad, con un enfoque especial en la comunidad latina. El evento es gratuito y comienza a las 9 a.m. La caminata de 2 km y la celebración cultural, totalmente accesible, comenzarán a las 10 a.m. Después de la caminata, habrá varias actividades y entretenimiento, incluido un DJ, en el Pabellón del Centenario de Rotary (107 N. South St., Gastonia, NC 28052).
