On Monday, July 24, 2023 the Gaston County Police responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Old Church Rd. Gastonia, NC in reference to a missing/runaway juvenile. Sophie Isabella Roland, age 16, was reported missing by family members at about 10:15pm. Roland was last seen about 10:00pm, on the home’s video surveillance system, leaving on foot. She was wearing a black short sleeve shirt, black shorts and white Nike athletic shoes.
Sophie Roland is a white female, 5’5” tall and weighs about 120lbs. She has long, straight blond hair (below shoulder) and green eyes.
