Meals on Wheels Gaston: Keeping Seniors at Home Where They Want to Be

At the core of the Meals on Wheels service is a nutritious meal, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of Gaston County seniors. For those who can still venture out into their communities we serve at seven sites scattered throughout Gaston County in:

Who Qualifies

Meals on Wheels Gaston focuses on caring for individuals whose diminished mobility makes it hard to shop for food, prepare meals or socialize with others. We serve adults age 60 or better. People who are mobile enough join others for meals in a group setting, while others that are less mobile may qualify for home delivery.

What You Need to Get Started

Call 704-862-7540 to speak with one of our Intake Social Workers. They will gather needed information to determine which program best suits your needs. For those who may qualify for home delivery, a Meals on Wheels staff member will visit with you in your home and conduct an assessment.
