Introducing: Kids Camp Kindness!
Brand new to GCACE, this program is designed for youth groups of all ages to participate. We will explore the needs of shelter pets, their behaviors, and how you can help be an animal advocate.

Tales for Tails
Tales for Tails is a children's literacy program. All school aged children are welcome to participate. Children are encouraged to bring books from home or borrow one from our GCACE library. Hosted one Saturday each month from 10:00am-11:00am located at Gaston County Animal Care & Enforcement. This program helps young readers build confidence while enriching the lives of animals. Legal guardians must be present for the entire hour. No sign up is required for this, drop by and see us for our Summer sessions!

Furry Friday's
Furry Fridays will take place one Friday evening during our fall and winter months from 6:00pm-7:00pm. This program is offered to all school aged children. Sessions will typically include a craft, game, movie, or other activity. This program is designed to help children in the community learn about the basic needs of animals and how they can help shelter pets. Spots are limited and sign up is required. Legal guardians must be present for the entire hour.
Pen Pals with Tails
This is a great program for our local schools. Looking to help young writers practice, build confidence, and have fun at the same time? What better way than to have a furry pen pal!
