Gaston County Police Department to Host Active Shooter Preparedness Sessions
The Gaston County Police Department and Gaston Family Health Services are hosting two free active shooter awareness sessions on August 16, 2018. Members of the FBI’s Partner of Engagement; Violence Reduction Unit will lead a morning session for school system employees, businesses, and elected officials at 9:00am. A second session specifically for law enforcement, behavioral health, first responders and security will be held at 1:00pm later that same afternoon (badge or credentials required for the afternoon session). Both sessions will be held at Stuart W. Cramer High School located at 101 Lakewood Road, Belmont, North Carolina.
