Interested in art or history, like to interpret to school groups, want to go behind the scenes and help out with collections or archives, or just want to greet visitors or help out in the gift shop? Volunteers are needed in these areas and many more at the Gaston County Museum of Art & History in Dallas. Areas of need include – greeting visitors, working in the Gift Shop, assisting with school programs and special events, helping in the administrative offices, exhibits, collections, public programs, and special events. Come and share your individual talents and skills with us and the public. As a volunteer you will – learn new skills and information, meet new people, receive discounts in the museum shop, enjoy the surroundings, help the museum move forward with numerous projects, and have fun!
