Gaston County Register of Deeds office now offers the service for Statewide Birth Certificates for persons born from 1971 to the present. The cost of this service is $24.00. (Cash only) Some exceptions to the records that are available would be adoptions, and special name changes. Any questions call 704-862-7687.
