Gaston County Police Investigate Shooting

On 4/6/2012 at 10:45 pm the Gaston County Police responded to a shooting call at 1337 Miles Rd., Dallas, NC.  Upon arrival officers discovered Michael Kevin Ramsey (7-14-68) outside the home in the backyard, and that he had sustained gunshot wounds.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  An apparent argument had taken place at the residence between Michael Kevin Ramsey and his brother, David Scott Ramsey (12-26-64).

David Scott Ramsey was still on scene when officers arrived.  As a result of the investigation, David Scott Ramsey was taken into custody and charged with 1^st Degree Murder.  He is being held in the Gaston County Jail and is awaiting a bond hearing.
