The Gaston County Quality of Natural Resources Committee (QNRC) is sponsoring a public meeting to hear an update on the ReVenture Park Project on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 7 PM at the Citizens Resource Center. The Citizens Resource Center is located in Dallas, NC at 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy. at the entrance to Dallas Park.
ReVenture Park is a project to convert a 667-acre Superfund Site into our region’s first Renewable Energy Eco-Industrial Park. The park will feature multiple clean-energy projects/industries to contribute to accomplishing our region’s environmental goals and our economic growth. The park is located in Mecklenburg County along the Catawba River, across from Mount Holly.
