Brandon Bond Catches Tagged Catfish at Dallas Park

District Park Supervisor Hal White presenting the $50 gift card to Brandon Bond Brandon Bond, a 16 year old East Gaston High School student, caught a tagged catfish from the Dallas Park lake (near DOT). Brandon caught the 12-inch catfish on August 23, 2011. Brandon was the lucky winner of a $50 gift card from The Great Outdoors in Cherryville. The tagged catfish was placed in the lake during July as Gaston County Parks and Recreation celebrated National Parks and Recreation Month.
