Public Fingerprinting

The Gaston County Sheriff's Office offers fingerprinting for the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. This includes fingerprinting for jobs, foster care, adoption, emergency medical service employment, daycare employment or for any other purpose. The Sheriff's Office also does fingerprinting for Concealed Weapons Permits during the previous mentioned days and times, by appointment only (To Schedule an appointment call 704-869-6830).

Requirements for Fingerprinting

$10.00 fee (cash and correct change only)
Valid picture ID
No charge for fingerprinting request made by the Dept. of Social Services.
