Pet Adoption Program
In an effort to promote the adoption of healthier animals and to help reduce the number of unwanted litters, area veterinarians, the Gaston Humane Society and Animal Control have joined to support an adoption-medical contract to achieve these goals. Selective dogs and cats are available for an adoption fee of $90.00 for dogs and $75.00 for cats. Pets will receive specific health services, including spay or neutering, from a local participating veterinarian of your choosing.
Available on a first come - first serve basis, the pets above are available for adoption. On the chance that these may no longer be available, Animal Control staff encourages anyone interested in adopting a pet to come by the Animal Shelter and view all available adoption pets. Pets can be adopted during regular operating hours.
