Additional Programs Through USDA
This program is available to farmers that has highly erodible cropland and or pastureland. Cost share of up to 50% with an agreement of 10-15 years.
Most private wetlands converted to agricultural use prior to 1985 are eligible. Wetland must be restorable and suitable for wildlife benefits. Cost share of up to 100% with agreement of 10 or 30 years; and or permanent.
All private land is eligible, unless it is currently enrolled in CRP, WRP or a similar program. Cost share of up to 75% with a 5-15 year agreement.
Private land that contains prime farmland or other unique resources and is subject to a pending easement from an eligible entity. One time up front payment with a permanent agreement.
All Private land in agricultural production is eligible; includes cropland, grassland, pastureland and non industrial private forestland. Cost share up to 75% with a 1-10 years agreement.
