The Task Force Advisory Board hears appeals from civil citations under the Gaston County Animal Control Ordinance. The board was established by Resolution 94-149 Dated 6/ 9/94; Resolution 97-76 Dated 3/13/97; Resolution 97-292 Dated 10/23/97; Resolution 2005-048 Dated 1/27/05; Resolution 2007-394 Dated 10/25/2007 and consists of eleven (11) members (eight assigned At Large, one Veterinarian, one Humane Society Representative and one Animal League Representative). Members are appointed by the County Commission and serve 4 year terms.
